VMS Video Server is based on the new T8 Server development platform. It is designed for professional IP video surveillance. It is featured with well performance CPU processing, encoding and decoding, and storage capability.
768MB Bandwidth capability supports up to 32 IP cameras. Example based on 32+ x 4MP cameras using H.264 encoding. Fewer or more cameras can be used depending on your own framerate and resolution requirements. Note1: This device is not an NVR. A USB Keyboad and monitor (not supplied) may be required for setup. The monitor is usually only required for adjustment of server admin settings.
Note2: VMS Servers are designed to record and 'serve' video streams to multiple remote clients. NX Client software should be installed on separate PCs.
